Our Mission Partners
As a member church of the Baptist convention of Hong Kong, it is with great delight that we have our partnership with the HK Baptist Mission Board. The Board's Mission centre is involved in ministry parternships in Japan, China, Mongolia, Burma, Nepal, Malaysia and Indonesia. Website: Hong Kong Baptist Convention
Started in 1965, two English women, Valerie Conibear and Wendy Blackmur, opened a home to care for the severely mentally and physically handicapped people of Hong Kong. Each child received into the Home is maintained there for the extent of his/her life without charge to the family or to any local government services. The Home has chosen not to receive any government funding, nor does it solicit funds. The history of the Home is a catalogue of answers to prayer and testimonies to a God who is faithful in meeting all their needs. Website: Home of the Loving Faithfulness (HOLF)
ICC is a Christian mission organization that works in two orphanages in China and trains national orphanage workers. Their purpose is to demonstrate God's love by providing a window of hope and opportunity to those with no voice: the poor, disadvantaged and oppressed. ICC acts as a bridge between China and overseas organizations and individuals, channeling finances and people into joint venture projects. We have provided support to ICC for many years, and some of our members have served in the ICC office in Hong Kong. Website: International China Concern
OMS International was founded in Japan in 1901. Today OMS has over 500 missionaries in more than 30 countries on five continents. OMS ministries began in Hong Kong in 1954. In every country OMS missionary work has a three-fold emphasis:
In recent years Hong Kong OMS has helped establish the United Wesleyan Graduate Institute to prepare mature Christians for ministry in the Chinese churches. Website: OMS International (Hong Kong)
Started in 1992, this ministry focuses on church planting in the Bicol region of the Philippines; a region that has historically been resistant to the Gospel. Bayani and Grace Sanchez, founders and leaders of BCWM have spoken to our church family before. Grace is the daughter of Pastor Ben Calica, long-time former pastor of our sister Filipino church, meeting at KIBC. If you would like to join our mission team, please contact Pastor Rev.
